Founders & leadership
Founder and CEO
Dr. Motta holds a PhD in immunology (2004) with over 25 years of research in cellular and molecular immunology. In 2019, he invented our microenvironment extraction core technology, and founded FOSCA BioTech in 2024 to advance the IN'IT therapeutic strategy from laboratory to clinic.
Chief Business Officer
Lee brings 20+ years of commercial and operational leadership, including Managing Director and COO roles across international markets. He joined FOSCA BioTech to lead business development, investor relations, and strategic partnerships as the company progresses towards its first clinical milestones.
Team
Research scientist
Dr Capuzzo holds a PhD in nanobiology and joined FOSCA BioTech in 2026. He is in charge of our in vitro pre-clinical programme and implements the latest 3D cancer models in human organoids in our laboratories.
PhD candidate
Romane joined FOSCA in 2026. She is responsible for the in vivo pre-clinical programme in glioblastoma models, in collaboration with the Bordeaux Institute of Oncology (BRIC) at the University of Bordeaux.
Mechanical engineering apprentice
Developing an implantable medical device is also a question of mechanics: precision, materials and design. Loan’s engineering perspective will be a real asset as our programme moves forward.
